Important: Watch For Movement

I'd keep Denninger on my subscribe/check multiple times per day list, if he's not already there.

Things in Euroland don't appear very happy at the moment.

And on this side of the pond, the "sporty" factor is about to start climbing....

Still got at least a month's worth of cash in the safe?

Cars and spare cans full of fuel?

How about your heat source?

Prescription meds topped off?

Cigs in the several-carton version?

Larder full?

Utilities paid ahead at least one month?

Water tanks full?

Six Bs all good?

Then stand by the popcorn popper, and have the butter ready to melt.

You think NASCAR wrecks are fun to watch.....

Just wait.

I'm about 70% ready to go.
As far as the cigarettes go, I'd keep them for trading material, but I still can't stop smoking the damn things!
I have managed to lose about 30 pounds, and my blood sugar is under control, so hopefully me and mine can ride out what's coming.

Remember to get a case (or more) of Bugler, Top, or other loose cigarette tobaccy and lotsa papers.

You'll get gold for that stuff.

Fill your garage with booze and cigarettes and you'd be the richest man in town. But what's the trade medium? Taters and onions? Now is the time to get crafty and think of all the things people will need in a months time. If you don't use it all up yourself.

Old American made hand tools. I'm talking about files, hammers, wrenches and those handcranked drills.

Airsoft simulators in your guns and lots of pellets to train. You CAN recycle the pellets if you shoot into a padded trap with a 45 degree interior incline. Get and copy 10 yard targets.

Be honorable. Keep your word even if it hurts, and if it hurts and it's because you got hurt by someone spread the word about them.

Scout out all the abandoned homes and other places you can call shelter.
