That video made my blood boil. Anybody running around at night dressed in black, with rifles should be taking fire. Watch your back gentlemen, you have gone too far! You will not be allowed to get away with this kind of shit.
Interesting to note that during the Colonial period when stockades were in use, it was acceptable for the town folks to throw rotten fruits and vegetables at those who were in the stockade for public shame.....Oh but I long for the day!
I suspect this is where we will see that clear line of demarcation known as the blue wall of silence. It is us against them for the most part and when it comes down to a fellow brother in the law enforcement community they will protect their own at most any costs.
So the only answer I see is the first man through the door needs to take hot lead and copper. When enough of these goons really understand that death is the consequence of executing an "unreasonable search" That is the day the program will change.
They do this to intimidate and because they know they will get away with it. Change the dynamic and they will change the approach.
I started reading "To Shake Their Guns In The Tyrant's Face" today. Churchill highlights several direct quotes from 1774 about the military in their midst.
Sounds pretty current to me.

There should be real people on the other ends of these phone numbers. Call and ask the questions, particualrly WHO and WHERE. If they don't want to answer, if they want to protect home invading, dog killing, jack booted thugs, THEN THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Remember "no distinction between the terrorists and those who harbor them?" Will the rest of the Columbia, MO police force "HARBOR" these scumbags?
Such vermin deserve the fate they dispersed to a **CAGED**, superior life-form.

While what the police did was inexcusable, the root of the problem wasn't those officers or the department, it's a systemic issue. This happens all the time, the only difference this time is that there was a youtube video.
First, the drug laws have to go. People have excused this sort of thing for decades because they find drugs morally offensive. As long as it's just happening to druggies, nobody cared.
The real people to blame are the faux-Christian moral do-gooders who support the 'War on Drugs'.
Second is the federalization and militarization of law enforcement.
At least with the drug dealers you can pretty easily figure out where you stand. While they aren't good people per se, they are rational and predictable in their behaviour.
With the police-state thugs a clerical error made by a court clerk or police secretary can lead to death at 3 AM. But don't worry, the police will be there to tell your children they're OK after they shot their dogs in front of them, plus CPS will be along shortly to 'help' you with your kids.
And once they figure out it was a mistake, they'll promptly return your seized assets and remit payment for repairs made necessary by the raid. They'll even provide free synchording for your dogs at re-pet (minus the memory of being killed, of course).
You'd think they were so busy harassing gun owners and residential occupants that they'd leave each other alone. Nope.
