I have to say this, insurance to 26 is nothing new. As long as your kid was in college they are insured up to 26 on their parents' benefits package. I was insured up to 26 because of this fact. In fact when I went to college at 24 I was put back on my parents' insurance oddly enough. All of which pre-dates Obama.
You and Mike are the writers; not I. And so I was pleased to see you finally get around to the Antifederalists, and their views on the certainty of today's mess.
I wonder tonight if you would also rebroadcast Rose Wilder Lane's thoughts in "The Discovery of Freedom?"
Oh, wait a minute. That's what you are already doing.

No, most folks don't get it yet, and I am most grateful to you for keeping up the message.
The salvation, the preservation of western civilization, of all that has been best for human well being in all of history...
is in our hands. If we cannot defend this Nation and restore the constitutional rule of law, if we cannot root out the pernicious leftism that rots our strength, we and all the world are lost to generations of oppression, devolution and misery.
Steyn's analysis is frightening because it is accurate. Do you need another reason to get ready?
There's a fight coming, the sooner the better, because there is going to be no other way to save Liberty. The longer we wait, the stronger the enemies grows and the weaker what remains of western culture and resolve becomes.

The idea that your retirement can be funded by you having lots of children is a Ponzi scheme. The population goes up exponentially, hits the carrying capacity of the current technology, and the scheme busts. The more moderate birthrate of anyplace that intends to have more civilization than villages of shepherds is a good thing.
The problem of lower birthrate cultures/ethnics losing majority rule elections to higher birthrate cultures/ethnics is a consequence of majority voting. Discard the great fraud of government where everyone tries to live at the expense of everyone else, and people will choose retirement planning that works.
As part of the .01% which actually went out and defended what's left of Western Civilization, it's good to see this concern slowly making its way into the coffee shop thought stream via a book.

Seriously, the ending comment by Steyn is what impacts me the most:
"I am a happy warrior but, to turn this thing around is going to be a hellish work and I think at a certain point we are going to find little Citadels, little Citadels of light on what is otherwise a very dark planet. In other words, I think pruned it grows again, maybe, but the pruning is going to be far more severe than we yet know."
In September, I am going with my teen sons to Washington D.C. and I intend to take them to see the originals of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence at the National Archives. I intend to drive home the point that they will likely face the need to take up arms in their lifetimes to defend the rights these documents recognize.
Steyn makes me think: What citadel am I a part of? What concrete steps do I need to take now to preserve the futures of my children and grandchildren?
I think some major adjustments on my part are going to be required.
The way to save this nation from the muslims is to simply Start Making Babies. Make Lots of Babies so the muslim hoard will never outnumber us.
Steyn & similar prescient personages like Walter Williams & Thomas Sowell need to, if they haven't already, set up a well prepped redoubt far away from their present locations deep within enemy turf if they intend to survive what just about everybody knows is a rapidly approaching showdown between the neo-pagan/neo-Stalinist herd creatures & the devotees of the Founders vision. Such as they are assets that'll be sorely needed to help reconstruct America along the philosophical lines the Founders had for it should the coming conflict be resolved in favor of Constitutionalists. I exclude such as Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Bill Bennett, Michael Medved, Pat Buchanan, & most of what now passes for "conservative" from that category of "valuable people", as they're, IMO, little more than ill concealed elitists. To paraphrase the question asked after freeing ourselves from English domination, why oust one set of those who believe that they're our "bettahs" only to install another?

Cassandra, 200-something years ago well-meaning people followed the Founder's sales pitch, and it produced the disaster of today. The constitution in general and the bill of rights in particular is a nice clear listing of all the approaches which have been tried, and have proven to fail. What, in detail, do you propose to do differently in this go-around so as to produce a different outcome?
