I have enjoyed this link and especially the comments section which added a lot of other good info.

I have had frostbite twice on my big toes. First time was from falling through the ice as a teenager while ice fishing. I had to kick off my boots to keep from drowning then walked home in my wet socks....Not fun. The second time was doing a Winter Mountaineering trip with inadequate foot wear. Day 9 of camping out in January high altitude Colorado, saw my toes turn purple and that was the end of my trip.

Will you or AP be doing a similar post re: dealing with heat exhaustion, sunstroke, hydration and other hot weather issues?

When it comes to cold weather gear, there's a one word solution: Wiggy's.

AP mentioned he had been told about Wiggy's and was going to check into them next. His article was good, but he will rewrite it as soon as he gets some time in Wiggy's gear under his belt!
