Steyn: "A Society Led By Such 'Men' Cannot Survive, And Does Not Deserve To"

Read it all, please.

And remember - Steyn's comments apply across all of Western Civ, regardless of job function or costume worn.

"Hateful, extremely disrespectful, and enormously intolerant...":

Remember those words.

Do you really think any of these American dhimmis give one tinker's damn about your life, your freedom, your property, and your children?

Really?

On what facts do you base that thought?

Thanks be to the multi-culti, equally valid deity of your choice, however, we still have the moral high ground.

That will save us, just so long as we keep doing exactly what we have done to get us to this point.

And vote.

Don't forget to vote.

Lindsay Graham is a cunt (as in very stupid person) of a man.

I also fully understand now, how General Petraus got his nick-name -- General Betray-us.

I am not a military person but I have heard that after the second star it is all politics. I suspect that is part of what is at play. Petraus is a tool of the NWO and the ruling elites.

What I do not understand is why any sensible person would join the military to be used as a pawn in these games.

Yes, we in South Carolina know the problem we have with Lindsey Grahamnesty. Our county party censured him and then allowed him to address the county convention in 2008. He was then and is now an arsehole. He's from this part of South Carolina, but his reelection was paid for by the hotel and tourist industry down on the coast. His position on illegal immigrants reflects that, the hotels on the coast want the cheap labor illegals provide, Lindsey is their spokeperson.

He's a military lawyer in the Army Reserve. He's made visits to the War Against Iraq and the War Against Afghanistan in uniform via that avenue. Don't ask, don't tell applies.

Benedict Arnold Betray-us: Providing Aid and Comfort to our enemies, and attacking our Constitution from within.

Betry-us is one of our employees, tasked with the oath to "...support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic".

Benedict Arnold, now domestic enemy to the Constitution- Makes himself a domestic enemy of everyone else who ever took that oath.

Or the oath is meaningless, no one abides by it, and we are without the rule of Constitutional law. [which is what the data suggests]

May I ask the General just who does he work for?

Given his position, Petraeus probably *has* to be seen to be against anything offensive to general Muslim sensitivities. That said, he way oversold his line. Call it a right royal F-up, but his at least makes sense.

Actually, Graham's does, too, but in a lot nastier way. Our new nobility does not allow for "rights," merely privileges that can be revoked at a whim.

That comparison is not fair to Benedict Arnold. He led the attack on Quebec, he won the battles of Valcour Island and Saratoga (Gates was not the one leading the men up the hillside on a white charger). Whatever damage he did afterward didn't undo the tremendous services he DID provide - and the fact is, he was completely right that he was being treated very shabbily by the Congress.

Petraeus' real success was the counterinsurgency in Mosul. Since then he's been coasting on policy and procedure.

Lindsay Graham a "wretched buffoon"? Mr. Steyn, you are being too kind. As far as General "Betray-us" is concerned, he is just another in a long series of "perfumed princes" as described by the late Col. David Hackworth, a true soldier-hero. We are definitely heading towards a civil war.

Funny, but I haven't heard Graham come out and condemn the animals who ahve killed and beheaded innocent people because someone lit some paper pages on fire.

Graham and Petraeus are embarrassments, and abominations, to this country. And we wonder why our military is losing these wars - I heard our female soldiers are being required to wear head coverings in the Middle East now - next they'll be forbidden to drive vehicles and not allowed out on patrol without a male companion.

Know what? Fuck 'em all! And where are our Oathkeepers? When the time comes, we'll have more to fear from our own troops than we will from our politicians. Lock and load!

As a former military man I can tell you from my experience;
1. At age 18 I joined the USMC to go fight and kill gooks during the Vietnam War. The war was over for most Marines by 1972, so I sat in Okinawa and Philippines for a year, still wanting to go to war. I did not give a rat's ass about politics, I just wanted to go to war like my Fallschirmjaeger father did. It was about the adventure, not politics, not right or wrong or being used. That was way over my head, then.
2. Some of us grow older and wiser, I have read military history most of my life and after the war many great books have been written, from the grunts view and the political view. I read them all. I now see how the politicians use young naive minds to do their dirty work and make money, but some people never see the light. I have friends who fought in VN and absolutely truly still believe it was to bring democracy to the region, exactly what they were told 45 yrs ago. They won't admit (or honestly just can't comprehend)they were used and exploited for money. Some people will never leave their comfort zone and listen to another point of view either. My sister did 8 yrs in the Navy and buys into every single piece of patriotic media bullshit they can preach on TV. She adamantly refuses to listen to one word of my treasonous bullshit, end of story. So everyone has their own reasons, most of them truly believe they are going to fight to preserve the democratic American way of life, it's all they know and they truly believe the gov't would not send them into harms way unless it was absolutely necessary. All you have to do is wave the flag, say a few things about patriotism and there will never be a shortage of volunteers.
I wish they would all read "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" by Monika Stevenson before they enlisted, it will make you sick when you realize how our gov't treats it's soldiers. No one would ever enlist if they understood. But sadly, most can't read well enough to get through Chapter 1.
I loved my time in, proud as hell of being a Recon Marine, but I sure wouldn't do it today!

Hi CA,

Vote? Voting is an admission of your powerless-ness. Supplicating and begging politicians for softer lashings? Screw that noise!

Escape is better advice. I just haven't figured out to where.

The Koran burning was "Hateful, extremely disrespectful, and enormously intolerant...".

But, what's wrong with that? Aren't we free to do what we want? Isn't that what Liberty is all about? While it was "hateful, extremely disrespectful, and enormously intolerant...", it wasn't illegal, nor did it harm or infringe upon anyone else. Hey, good job.

About Gen. Patreaus, I don't hold it against him. He's there trying to do his job, and he spoke the truth. He is trying to quell the moslems and keep his soldiers alive. Moslems can lie, cheat, and steal from infidels, and Patreaus can lie, cheat, and steal from moslems if it meets his/our goals in the region.

One of the best things about this country is the separation of the military from the political power structure. I wouldn't want to live in a military dictatorship run by anyone, so I'm glad he's toeing the government line. The problem isn't Patreaus, the problem is that we are in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya at all. The problem is with politicians like Bush, Obama, and Graham who got us in all this mess and won't get us out, and who want to muzzle us with the Patriot Act and other anti-liberty legislation.
