The problem with nukes is that WE get the power for 40 to 50 years and then our CHILDREN get the pleasure of once again cleaning up our mess...The rods remain "hot" for 100,000 years - that's over 20 times longer than our entire human recorded history. Accidents are the smallest problem with nukes - the real issue is the waste.
Authority for the 100000 year "hot" claim, please.
