More From Colonel Cooper

The consensus is that no more than five to ten people in a hundred who die by gunfire in Los Angeles are any loss to society. These people fight small wars amongst themselves. It would seem a valid social service to keep them well supplied with ammunition.

If they attained a level of marksmanship and tactical sophistication such that the surrounding populace were not endangered, I could agree with Cooper.

Doesn't matter if they ever get better than they are.

Cooper says 95% of the dead won't be missed, meaning that 5% will be missed. Smart folks make themselves scarce before being hit by stray rounds, and luck applies. Sandbagging the bedroom walls facing the street is cheap. Bring a couple cases of bulk-pack FMJ 115grain FMJ 9x19mm back from out of state next time, and pay for the trip.

yep.

Cooper: "... a valid social service to keep them well supplied ..." Hhmm, who's going to do the buying?

Some people are saying that NPR needs continued federal funding in order to keep jobs. On the other hand, jobs could be created or saved (gasp!) in the munitions industry, by doing the ammo supplying per Cooper. $450 mil/year worth of nines and fowties that would otherwise get spent on NPR, could solve some dependency problems in the big city. Future generations worth of problems, actually.

For purists: That's a joke, son.

Thanks. I was not able to correctly identify Elden Carl. Incidently, Thell Reed does the fast and fancy pistol work in the movie "Last Man Standing". :^)
