Spengler: Chinese Weather On Tahrir Square

In the Asia Times, Spengler ties together some strategic loose ends re Egypt:

***
...Not until June will we know the extent of the damage to China's winter wheat crop, virtually all its production. Extremely low rainfall this winter parched more than 5 million hectares of 14 million hectares planted, and the next few weeks' weather will determine if the world faces a real shortage of the staff of life...
***

Got food?

And does anyone have a clue where the US foreign aid described will originate?

Be sure to check out the Oswald Spengler quote at the end of the piece.

I admire the valuable information you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your blog and have my children check up here often. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else!

"pray for rain in China"...

Nice. His previous commentary regarding the income issues by Asian prosperity was brilliant and spot on. I appreciate you referencing him.

One does have to wonder when that young, uneducated overly male population will have enough and start a war like the proper "youth bulge" they are.

Interesting times indeed. Thanks again for being out there sir.
