Eh, I'm just sittin' here for now, watching the passing parade. When it's time (Oh, that word) I'll get up and stretch and go to work, and a lot of people are going to wish I had never paid attention, and that I did not have such imagination. Since we have to avoid good ole' Ft. Sumter, I'll have to put in a little overtime to catch up.
If each person would take to heart that he or she owns himself/herself AND is neither owned by nor owns ANYONE ELSE, what a wonderful world it would be. Your gun safe, his bedroom, her uterus, my email, all private property and sacred. Big Government would have a really hard time making Faustian bargains with all the different factions who know what's best for ALL THOSE OTHER PEOPLE.
I think Dan's essay on violence is exactly right.
You can see the naked snarl on the faces of the progressive/fascists in the House of Representatives produced by the relatively benign reading of the US Constitution, a document which created that body and the whole of the US government, because they don't like it and don't want to be bound by it.
There's going to only be one way to wipe that snarl off their faces and it's not going to be by voting for this person or that person.
