About those bankers:
An illustration from the micro level.
A friend was doing some banking with Bank of America. The ATM out front wasn't working, so she went to the drive-through teller. When her transactions were complete, she said "By the way, do y'all know the ATM isn't working?"
"WE'RE not RESPONSIBLE for maintaining the ATM machine," said the teller.
"Well, I thought you should be aware."
