The Efficacy Of Anti-Materiel Raids
The NY Daily News explains.
Things that make you say "Hmmmm...."
Wasn't this approach mentioned in a book from a while back?
Do not give in to Evil, but proceed ever more boldly against it

I read that and immediately wondered how much more effective righteous free men could be - if they only had the balls shown by a pack of rotten criminals.
The war on (some) drugs is actually a war on the Constitution and war on the American people.
The following link is not suitable for work or for the faint of heart.

Soon American make look like this. See also John Robbs most recent post on Global Guerrillas re: the Mexican drug cartels bloody skirmishes.

We have the advantage. They want to collect their paychecks and go home at the end of the shift.
We ARE home.
The average Patriot should look at such reports and translate to our own circumstances...

Not efficient, but effective. Think of every bullet and band-aid as your last, very wasteful in the execution for what was gained. A well placed .300 or .338 magnum round in each of those trucks would have crippled them just as badly. And those cops are the lowest on the totem pole in Mexican law enforcement, they are not rushing out to see what that cannon is doing.
Cowards. They should get out there and win that war on drugs!

Ammo wastage means less to the narcotrafficantes than to the other groups.
Concerned American nailed it. They sent a VERY explicit message to those cops. While the vehicle destruction could have been accomplished with FAR LESS expenditure of ammunition, the message delivered thereby would not have been ANYWHERE NEAR as clear.
And SOMETIMES the MESSAGE is the most important part of the action.
Y'all do realize that the Zetas were trained by the US Army, do you not?
They were a Mexican military unit that trained here, likely at the U.S. Army School of the Americas, Fort Benning, Georgia.
Upon their return, they offered their skills to and eventually took over, one of the lesser drug cartels. Or, at least it was one of the lesser ones.
Looks like they've got their credibility shit wired....
:-)
After glancing at the photo I had to actually click the link to make sure this wasn't from Iraq. (Ah, the memories of those police trucks.)
The Mexicans need to take a lesson from the Iraqis and put hesco barriers in front of their police stations.
Thanks for putting in a plug for my novel Neither Predator Nor Prey. To maintain freedom, the cost to those who would impose tyranny must be raised to an unacceptable level. This includes materiel every bit as much as personnel.

You ain't kidding, Pete.
The various ambushes they've set up have been classic operations, almost text book.
The notion that the Mexicans need to emulate the puppet government in Iraq is ludicrous.
What they need, what we need, is to study diligently the operations of the Iraqi and Afghan Freedom Fighters and how they're defeating the most powerful, aggressive, hegemonic military on earth.
Perhaps they'll write a text on how they've done it.
Are you listening Iraqi Freedom Fighters?
