'My Country', My Ass
Listen to the tune above from My Country, My Ass, via Denninger, who says:

...Then...... go back to the above site and look at this gent's attempt to start something.
A peaceful something, that begins with you.
With music.
And watch for Monday..... when it's my turn....

Sounds like great theme music for the Saturday before Election Day, at the Restore The Constitution local armed rallies:

Let's roll.
I think other stations besides country ones would be interested too. It rocks. It might get the rebellious youth looking for a cause up off their fourth word in the title.
Seeing as how most radio stations are owned by media conglomerates, your email to one station may get this song heard on dozens of others. I've submitted requests to the biggest country statin in my are, and one in the we-play-anything format.
I might send a link to my congressMasters too.
It's a nice song, but it FAILS to identify the REAL problem. It aims at "the jerks in Washington" but by and large THEY are not the ones causing the problems! Not Obama. Not Reid. Not Pelosi. Not Napolitano. Not Holder. NONE of them will lay a hand on you if you ignore their "laws" or tell them where to stuff it. THERE IS a group who will be glad to do so, in spite of their oath to "...preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution...". And until people are ready to send them where they belong, we can expect "Law Enforcement" to bow and scrape before their Masters and then do whatever they're told. Because THEY are the true evil here. But everyone still seems to shake their heads in horror that anyone would even SUGGEST that "Law Enforcement" is anything other than the finest organization on earth. Even as they club, Taser, shoot, and arrest citizens for trying to pursue their rights under the Constitution. I thank God every time he sends another of them to hell where they belong!
Saw this on the "related videos" page on YouTube. A brilliant explanation to recommend to the newly liberty-conscious.

Cop Haters don't reflect well on us. Take your infantile authority issues elsewhere.
Most "citizens" who get clubbed, tasered and shot deserved every bit of it and worse. Like any profession, there are some bad characters.
Ruralcounsel:
Review the "police bad apples" entries over the last month at Injustice Everywhere.
Then, if you have the moxie, come back here and assert your claim again.
That's fine and dandy, Concerned, but you might also want to acquaint yourself with the idea of sampling bias. Looking only at the bad ones will not give you a clear picture of the population at large.
And to both Concerned and Mark, try getting to know your local officers - the personal touch makes all the difference sometimes, and the police in your AO are the only ones that really matter for you. Build relationships that can be strengthening and useful to you and your tribe. Making unnecessary enemies just makes your work later more complicated and dangerous.
James: Believe it or not, some of my oldest friends are former LEOs. You should hear the stories they tell.
I get sampling error.
Do you get underreporting?
