Anyone paying attention can see the little trial runs going on in all the sectors he talks about.
It is happening now. Just try to get a job in another town...
I understand. BUT: no one out there can forecast when this or a similar scenario will take place. CNBC this morning(8/5) was crowing about growing employement in the EU and how things are turning around. Bob Chapman's International Forecaster has been doing their Chicken Little dance for about 18 months now. But then, a broken clock is right twice a day. As long as the PTB still employ quantitative easing to monetize the debt, Amerika will just muddle through, captivated by its bread and circuses. The Cassandras will all be marginalized. Galt's stories make for a good read but they are just that. Stories.
Glenn Beck says it's like "Jobless men keep going, we can only take care of our illegal immigrants." A one-to-one correlation between status as a "sanctuary city" for illegals and massive debt and cutting of vital services. Oakland CA, Philadelphia, New York City, East St. Louis, all the places we're reading about lately. All Democrat strongholds for 50 to 80 years.
I guess not enough dead people were voting Democrat to assure a lock.
Friday PM CBS news said continued loss of jobs "may slow the recovery."
Recovery.
Keep the people calm, eh?
