Thoughtful words. But, the shoe is not pinching enough. People can still come and go. They can put in their time at work, get paid, shop, go home, and plant their fat asses in front of the TV.
When Faux News or the Clinton News Network gets their spin machine going, they may tsk-tsk at an overzealous cop punching some citizen in the face for taking a cell-phone photograph, but then they go right back to the Final Four, Nascar, or some other brain-dead nonsense. As long as the average citizen out there is able to muddle along, there will be no massive outrage. I would have thought the egregious conduct of that Columbia, MO SWAT assault would have been some sort of tipping point. But, we have had murder at Ruby Ridge&Waco, the Battle for Seattle, the numerous police riots at the G-8 summits and nothing. The average slob out there knows that the police are all that is keeping him and his family safe from the crooks. Since they are not rocking the boat, like the signers did, they will never back those who are ready to pledge their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor". If you are ready to take on the local Gestapo, then watch your back. For, when we start to fight back, the Quislings will be legion. Plan ahead.
