RTC: Possible Names of Dog-Killing Officers In MO Search Warrant Execution

An update here; additional details/corroboration will be appreciated.

On the SWAT front, another story -- this time, even more disturbing.

Remember: 100+ raids per day.

Every day.

They hate us because we're free.

I guess this latest "raid" should have made me sad, but it just made me highly pissed off.

Run those officers names thru the zabasearch.com web site and I found all but one of them. Need to add those names to my "Christmas Card List" for future reference. They might be big & bad storm troopers but they can still be found.

I already see a number of problems with this situation.

First, the use of the English language as accepted by the journalist from the police. ..."deployed a distractionary device commonly known as a flash bang." That term is inaccurate and glosses over the fact that this is a percussion grenade. These grenades can cause permanent hearing loss in adults and can kill a child or dog if they are in the room when it goes off! More that a mere distraction, they can be deadly!.

Next, "high risk search warrant was approved by prosecutor and magistrate"......while seeking a murder warrant" Did you all catch that? The prosecutor should have nothing to do with issuing warrants. He has an ax to grind. That ax is the case he is trying to build. A magistrate is an inferior judicial officer without the full power of a judge. So why should these two be in the position to issue any kind of warrant? I call bullshit on this right from the beginning. Journalist takes the word of the cops right away without any further scrutiny. Cops are all apologies, with qualifications to allow them an excuse as the "investigation" unfolds. Prosecutor is involved in the issuance of a warrant...hmmmm?

It all adds up to one dead little girl and that stinks!

The "Detroit" story you linked is apparently an early version based on *LIES* told by the police.

Apparently the true story is:

* WRONG HOUSE. This may be a duplex, or just the wrong address -- but in either case (though the subject was apparently captured soon after) the kid was not in the same dwelling as the suspect.

* LIES ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY. The article suggests a woman fought with the cop and the round was discharged during the fight. Apparently the truth is that the cop ran into the woman in haste and confusion, and fired the round on impact. What's that old bit about booger-hooks and bang-buttons?

There's more, I'm sure - MUCH more - but those are enough to demonstrate the recurring theme: Inadequate intel, botched decisions, lots of adrenaline/testosterone and nowhere near enough care and common-sense.

OTOH, the kid's just "collateral damage".

It's sad, but then that's what she gets for associating with/living near some murdering thug.

These things happen in a war, right?

Concerned American,

Re: "They hate us because we're free"

Recall what Jack Nicholson said about freedom in Easy Rider. Then as now, little's changed.
