An Anniversary

John Venlet notes.

Anyone who thinks such a thing could not happen again is a fool.

It will not be Kent State again, at least not with us. Projectiles will travel in both directions, it will be ugly and brutal, but it will not be a massacre, it will be a very uncivilized war, nothing as romantic, as even the War of Southern Independence.

I used to think this was avoidable, kind of a cold war, that never goes hot, but lately I have less and less hope of that being true.

Be safe, watch your six.

Washington Times online today ran a front page story about "new evidence" released by the FBI that says the riots at Kent State were well planned.....40 years after the fact the liars at the FBI release "new evidence"!

And the comment section shows just how divided, still today, we are as a nation. Many (who read the Washington Times) chime in that the shootings were justified, that this "new evidence" proves that point, that the police and national guard were only keeping order....in effect that the government is always right and imply you are a traitor if you disagree with your government.

Look out America. Here it comes again. When those who swore an oath to defend the Constitution blindly follow the orders of the politicians and hucksters in government WE THE PEOPLE LOSE.

Many of those who swore an oath have never read the document and some who have read it don't even comprehend what it means! And many will follow orders just like those at Kent State because they know where their bread is buttered.
