"I should neither have to declare to the government that I intend to do so, or that I am doing so, as that redefines said right as a privilege, and our Constitution says this is not a privilege - it is a Constitutional Right."
One minor nit-pick, probably only a matter of semantics, all equalling to the same thing -- I would call that NOT a Constitutional Right, but a God-Given Right as codified and written down in the Constitution's Bill of Rights.
Yes, Karl voted for Obama, and has said so repeatedly. Keep in mind that the only alternative candidate in most folks' minds was the traitorous, oath-breaking John McCain, who also suspended his presidential campaign to drum up support for the first round of federal bailouts.
(The Libertarian Party had even been infiltrated as evidenced by their candidate, Bob Barr.)
I'm about as fundamentally straight-arrow as one can get regarding our God-given rights, and though I do disagree with Karl on some things, I believe he is a valueable ally in liberty.
Read through a few of his postings at http://ticker-classics.denninger.net and I believe you'll come to the same conclusion regardless of who he admits voting for.

Is my memory bad, or did Karl support Obama for president?
