Think You'll Get Revenge in November? Think Again.
W.C. Varones dashes many Americans' delusional fantasy about the continued utility of the ballot box.
Remember your Stockdale:
“I never lost faith in the end of the story,” he said, when I asked him. “I never doubted not only that I would get out, but also that I would prevail in the end and turn the experience into the defining event of my life, which, in retrospect, I would not trade.”
I didn’t say anything for many minutes, and we continued the slow walk toward the faculty club, Stockdale limping and arc-swinging his stiff leg that had never fully recovered from repeated torture. Finally, after about a hundred meters of silence, I asked, “Who didn’t make it out?”
“Oh, that’s easy,” he said. “The optimists.”
“The optimists? I don’t understand,” I said, now completely confused, given what he’d said a hundred meters earlier.
“The optimists. Oh, they were the ones who said, ‘We’re going to be out by Christmas.’ And Christmas would come, and Christmas would go. Then they’d say, ‘We’re going to be out by Easter.’ And Easter would come, and Easter would go. And then Thanksgiving, and then it would be Christmas again. And they died of a broken heart.”
Another long pause, and more walking. Then he turned to me and said:
“This is a very important lesson. You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end – which you can never afford to lose – with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.”
Do you understand yet?
Your study time is just about over.
And the tests are going to suck.
Get your head on straight now, while you can still change course and improve your odds.

It's like Jesus is coming -- you just don't know when. That's why it's a good idea to read the Gospels to keep you level-headed.
And learn to use that sword that you sold your coat to purchase.

While the picture depicted is grim indeed, it may not play out. Here's why: ObummerCare - especially if shoved thru as "deemed" and not voted on - may be the trigger for Civil War II. Many of the vermin in Congress may end up swinging in the breeze. Can't think of a better use for those lamp-posts in D.C.
Revenge? Little late for that, no?
It's hilarious that America thinks by cleaning out the idiots we have now for new idiots we'll somehow change our fate. That's like trying to swap out the train driver who is taking us all in the cattle car to Auschwitz.
Good luck with that.
I wonder whether, when things get truly heated, they will proceed directly to NORTHCOM on the streets or attempt a diversion via a 9/11 style event.

CONgress will be back for vacation in a week or so...let's seize as many as we can, lock 'em up in our basements and make sure they do not go back to DC. Citizens' arrest you know...

reminds me of something that Louis McFadden said when he railed against the Federal Reserve back in the 1930's...
something to the effect that if he voted against the will of the people or voted for something un-constitutional he would fully expect to be greeted at the train station by an angry group of his constituents waiting with rope to string him up!
Therein lies the problem; these scoundrels have no fear of WE THE PEOPLE any longer.
Perhaps we should give them reason to fear us.
Dont' forget to kill all the little children during the Civil War II; it's the best way to save on healthcare costs.
