I've been unimpressed with Romney since he failed to unseat a beatable Ted Kennedy in 1994. The simple answer; He played nice.
Excuse me, could all you nice guys move? I don't have a clear line of sight to the tyrants for all of your "bipartisanship." Thanks,
Eric,
III
Someone needed an explanation?
Was that called Masscare or should it have read Massacre? Either way it sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Mitt Romney is the latest in a long line of craven, go-along, get-along whitebread-baloney-american cheese-mayo sandwiches that have been served us by the smarmy, condescending Republicrat elites. He is a well-coiffed empty suit who looks like he's never experienced the low-crawl pit or had dirt under his nails. If you look at him, Huckafraud, Gingrich, Lindsay Graham, Guliani, and their cheerleaders at Faux News, it's no wonder that Ron Paul received so much support during the last presidential election. And, it's no wonder that Paul's greatest opposition was from them also.
"Masscare nationwide will bankrupt America. No doubt. But first it will drive out doctors and private insurers, providing the perfect pretext a half-decade down the road for politicians to step in and move to full-blown single-payer governmentalization."
As Steyn suggests, Obamacare is not meant as a solution. It is intended to exacerbate an existing problem so as to generate demand for a single-payer system, i.e., socialized medicine. Obamacare is a half-way house on the road to serfdom.
MALTHUS
Next few weeks will bring Amnesty and 15-30 million new Dem voters, then Cap and Trade after the Nov elections.
Followed by defacto Nationalization of the Media. (they'll call it a bailout)
Next up is Fed control of 401(k)'s for the good of all.
Soon it will be time to play Cowboys and Progressives.
