Irreconcilable Differences

Kevin Baker of The Smallest Minority posts this extended essay on the two Americas.

It's long, but worth the time.

Do you see a way that the Producers, the Looters, and the Moochers can live together in peace?

I surely don't.

Tempus fugit.

This was a very well-done, well-researched and thoughtful essay. Sadly, it's way too late. T.E. Lawrence of Arabia fame is reported to have said: "An opinion can be argued with, a conviction is best shot." This is where we are at. Let's just make it their Fort Sumter, not ours.

Kevin:

I actually did read it all.

I wanted readers to try to think of a way that the two visions/three classes could continue in their dysfunctional relationalship.

That's all.

Don't think it can be done.

I fully concur, and would enlarge Sowell's response by two words, the sum being "Die scum, die..." I have understood for a long time that the only meaningful discourse that we will ever have with these idiots consist of those three words, whether they issue them to us, or us to them. No matter how torturous and contorted the road we take together, it will end in a pool of blood.
