Con-Con Con

UPDATE 15 DEC 2008 1940 est: David reports that the measure is likely dead for this session.

David Codrea reports on an idea almost too stupid to be believed.

The Ohio Republicans are calling for a freaking constitutional convention??

Haven't they read Bracken as to what can happen at a modern con-con?

Read David's piece and act, please.

And consider the possibility that the Republic is so moribund that even the ostensible "lesser government" party is collaborating with the overt Statists for a share of the post-reorganization spoils...

Et tu, Brute?

firefox is complaining that matthewbracken.web.aplus.net is a forgery site.

it does not do so regarding www.enemiesforeignanddomestic.com, which appears to be the same website.

so, if you ordered anything on the former, it's safe to assume that your credit card information has been stolen from you.

confirmation from matthew would be desireable.

Upon choosing the "Bracken" site the following notice appears,

"Reported Web Forgery!

Web forgeries are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust.

NOTE: I went on through to the site and it appears to be his normal site. This is the link info showing in my browser window:

Does anybody know if this is really a web forgery or has someone lied and falsely reported this because they do not like the site?

Thank you.
