Politics: A Way Forward?

Consider the points raised in this book.

"Why bother?", you ask.

Even if you see the current system as FUBAR, rational people will ask, "What would you put in its place?"

The book is an answer.

Not the answer.

An answer.

'Restoration' of a failed political framework may seem like weak tea indeed.

But consider just how much work there is and how few workers there are to do it when honestly assessing even that limited goal.

Those who survive what is coming will have, in some areas, a chance to rebuild.

These ideas could help that effort.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.

And anyone with a better plan is more than welcome to publish and distribute it.

The US Constitution is currently functioning as intended.

Better, the Articles of Confederation.

Best, no national government at all.

Restoration of a failed political framework being weak tea is to describe the framework as being failed, when it is the individual who is responsible. A breakdown and degradation of a civilization occurs when individuals on a massive scale lie. A simple lack of integrity, reproduced thousands of times, ignored, nodded to, accepted, is what does it. Systems, whatever or however assembled, are dicey at best. Most that outline freedom and justice work very well, when integrity is their meat. Remove the truth, subtract reality, and substitute what previous generations would call nothing but false, and you get what we have now. A drunk fiddlers bitch of a two bit whore, careening toward Armageddon, and unconcerned.

"'But what would you replace the state with?' The question reveals an inability to imagine human society without the state. Yet it would seem that an institution that can take 200,000,000 lives within a century hardly needs to be 'replaced.'" --Joseph Sobran, in The Reluctant Anarchist

Received my copy this afternoon. Sat down and read it through.

I'm impressed. Simple, concise, and an easy read. Most important is the fact that it communicates my views and position virtually one hundred percent.

Now, it has to be distributed. I'm gonna do my part and order extras to give to the "special" people in my life like that socialist bastard congressman of mine.

Sam needs to be commended. The work is a solid explanation of what should be our unified request. Thanks also to the other contributors, Alvie, AP, CA, TL, and Michael.

It is my prayer that this is the thing we can all get behind. Gentlemen, there really is no time left. We have to form up, establish interlocking fields of fire and we have to do it now.

Buy the book. Read it. And let's start coming together as a unified force.

Alan: Thank you. And my deep thanks to Michael, CA, AP, Alvie & TL, as well as the (literally) hundreds of folks who helped craft and refine the Platform over the winter.

This is a group effort, and I hope that most of us can agree on most of the points in the book. Hopefully when our Masters are presented with a copy, they'll understand our intent is sincere.

One thing is certain: If we do not take our Liberty back from those who would be our Masters, noone is going to do it for us. It's all up to us, we few Patriots who can relate to John Parker and the rest of the original III.

If we all protect the patch of ground under our feet, perhaps others will be inspired to do the same.

Liberty or Death.

If they mean to have a war, let it begin here...

Resist
Now
