We're in the place of a bunch of old people, watching their old folks home burn down, yacking about it in our bathrobes. Just my opinion, I'm sure there are different ones, but really, what are we going to do about it? Write the congress again?

I would say, however, that without the "whining, dancing, quoting, and defining" done by you and a few others, CA, I would not have the same awareness of what's going on as I currently do.
If enough old people in bathrobes yack enough, maybe others will wake up. At least when the nursing home burns down, they'll have had a chance to die on their feet, rather than in their beds.
Or on their knees.
Besides, people are always free to act according to their own consciences. They're free, ya know?

Sean nailed it on the head as I sarcastically pointed out. We have reached a point that most of this is just hot air moving around in circles. A hundred opinions that lead nowhere! But in the last two years of reading here and other blogs, I have learned so much that I would not of other wise learned from other sources. Sean and I have had a few harsh words and from it I now see a different perspective. Thanks!
But on a different level, when will this finally lead to a solution? I think Sean is as frustrated as the rest of us and we are just plain tired of talking (or venting). Will we still be doing this a year or two from now???

Is Sean advocating an armed march on Washington? It might be time, at that. I'm a little long in the tooth for such a thing, but maybe with enough Ben-Gay...
An armed march on Washington would achieve a nice masssacre of its' marchers, and a feather in the cap of Obongo and Co. There are ways of doing things and there are ways of doing things. I have not had any epiphany, but if someone else has, I'm listening.
