Yes, they do.
The playing field will be so much more clear without them playing both sides.
When FreeFor and OpFor finally clash, the dead elephants will get crushed. Assuming they haven't donned OpFor jerseys by then.
Good riddance.
No observable difference, except their willingness to intrude MORE than the Dems in some aspects of our lives.
I remember them fielding a gun control bill comparable to a Democrat one but with slightly fewer restrictions. When it passed (Thanks, NRA), they added the restrictions right back in with an amendment. I haven't voted for an R since.
Republicans - the leaders, at least - simply want *better managed* socialism. The idea of the rabble being left to its own devices is as antithetical to them as it is to the Dems.
