How does any rational person ever imagine that a nation of Muslims can or will install a democracy?
It is like they just completely ignore the tenets of Islam.
On another note....I will ask another honest question, at the risk of being crucified on this site. Can we really blame the White House for it's reaction to the situation in Egypt? Obama was damned if he did, damned if didn't.
The real issue is any US involvement at all. We gave/will give billions of dollars to Egypt no matter what happens. To me, that is the real crime.

Either the MB will jack the govt. or murder their way to it, when it becomes crystal clear that the Suez Canal fees are out of sight, or closed altogether, gas will hit $6 a gallon, and riots will ensue here. This is simply too good an opportunity for the Moslems to yank our chain(oil)for them to pass up. Keep an eye on that gas gauge, it's going to be a bumpy night.
Yea, They want Democracy, Until they get control and then it's time for (totalitarian) Sharia Law.
Then we'll see what happens to Democracy?
