The Plan For Food Dependency
Read it all.
No need to worry, though -- the Dead Elephants are going to read the Constitution in opening the new Congress.
Do not give in to Evil, but proceed ever more boldly against it

Well, we wanted something that would jog people out of their political apathy.
I predict that EVERYBODY is going to be learning the names of their senators and congressmen and printing out their photos, and learning where their district offices and local federal building are located.
Just EVERYBODY.
United We Starve?
For two or three days, maybe. Then there will be what in the economic world is referred to as a "major correction."
Didn't the FMSA Act just pass?
And if its enactiment is 'the shot heard 'round the world', what is?
How much more is to be tolerated?
If the elephants are just now getting around to reading the Constitution, I say they are way too late.
Damn it I hate to be so pessimistic but if one looks through the annals of human history it is clearly understood that food or the with-holding of food or disruption of the system of distribution of food/crops and the outright destruction of crops has long been a tool of war.
So we are now faced with an impending martial law scenario already written into the executive authority, government control of medicine/medical treatment, and control of food distribution.
Where is the happy ending in all of this?

When the dot gov bully boys come to confiscate for "redistribution" my food and water storage, it will be time to suppliment the diet with (as Robert Heinlein so eloquently wrote) "fresh long pork".

Speaking of fresh meat. Donate a kidney, get out of prison. Sisters who did shotgun robberies and beatings, a sentence "too strict," and "humanitarian parole."
Did I mention the part about beating people with a shotgun?

Sci-fi master Larry Niven wrote a story about this carried to its inevitable conclusion. Being disassembled for the organ banks becomes the punishment for EVERYTHING, right down to littering and jaywalking.
Right now, some elite might be looking for me or you on organmatch.com.

Agricultural water allocations cut 90%. (Let's see if massive flooding from the superstorm makes any difference.) 16% unemployment in the produce processing and canning industry.
California leads the way. See what cooperation with the agenda gets you?
Massachusetts increases penalty 9 percent for not buying health insurance. For your $700-800 fine you get ... NOTHING. That would be about the cost for one month of insurance for me and my wife. It also happens to be our monthly mortgage payment. We'd be the healthiest homeless people you'd ever want to meet.
Sticky-Mitts Romney wants to be our president.
Tick tock.

A five-hour emergency room wait lets Streptococcus A take off in little girl. None of the staff would listen to the parents.

And the infection called ObamaCare hasn't fully set in yet.
These are the people who say our guns are a social disease?
The IRS seems to have been thrown into chaos by Congress' MAINTAINING the CURRENT tax structure.
If only all government agencies were that aware and effective. Gridlock is great.

I wonder why I'm reading about this first in an Australian newspaper.
For Defender:
Obviously that's because you aren't reading Drudge. He's had that for several days. Of course, HIS link is to the Mail Online.
