Repeal It

TL Davis at Washington Rebel states the issue.

I'd put it a little more bluntly:

If the House does not pass a full repeal of Obamacare by the end of January, the Dead Elephants will have chosen extinction.

Now ask yourself as moves for the chess pieces are considered:

Then what?

The president of the American Medical Association is resigning. I wonder what THAT means. Is it because Obamacare is going to be repealed, or because it ISN'T?
We've read the horror stories about socialized health"care" in Canada and Britain. Six-month waits for an X-ray; no heart stents or angioplasty for those over 55; no joint replacements either. Those things can last 20 years, and that's just putting government property in the ground when a younger person would get full use of it.
Better for the collective.
The R party has been given yet another last chance to do things right. People are watching like never before. Pain keeps you awake, and most people are feelin' it...

Well thank God that some people still have their balls to see the shenanigans.

I've been telling people over and over, that if the repukes DO NOT repeal ObamaCare ... then the gig is up. And "we" have been bamboozled again ... and again ... and again.

"We are not going to be able to repeal it, because the president would veto any repeal. But we can go back and make some changes and improvements.

We have voted for the repukocrats all these years ... AND HERE WE ARE.

We have voted for the dumbocrats all these years ... AND HERE WE ARE.

Wake up Tea Party ... and move on over to the RTC ... they need bodies.

Because if you don't ... imagine where we will be.

Politics as a spectator sport will be great fun over the next few months, particularly regarding the repeal issue.

Playing for repeal is a political no-brainer for every member of the GOP. I wonder if there is enough self-serving genetic garbage on the Left to tell the Administration to take a hike, and over ride a veto?

Those on the Left have seen now, first hand, that the Admin and Leadership will not come charging to their rescue when the chips are down. Anyone on the Left has got to do the political arithmetic and understand that a vote for repeal may be their only hope in 2012.

Fun stuff...a shame it is so deadly serious for us all.

No. People don't demand accountability. Why do people still expect results from politicians? They're in it for themselves. They do what they want. When the people don't like what they do, they vote them out. Then the new batch does what they want.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If it's not repealed, THAT WILL BE THE LINE.

“If the House does not pass a full repeal of Obamacare by the end of January, the Dead Elephants will have chosen extinction.”

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but how can the dead elephants repeal it before January when the newbies that will give them a majority won’t be sworn in until Jan 20th?

"We are not going to be able to repeal it, because the president would veto any repeal.”

True, but my congressman has vowed to lead an effort to defund it until a veto proof majority or a change in the executive branch happens. It DOES need to be repealed.

“But we can go back and make some changes and improvements”

Winners do not compromise with losers. Wasn’t that their approach in’08? Now that the shoe is on the other foot all of a sudden they want to bargain.

“ Politics as a spectator sport”

Sorry, but politics is no longer a spectator sport. It has entered the realm of being a survival skill.

Use the Dems own tactics against them. Put a hidden repeal provision in every single bill that comes out of the House.

Abandon the Queensbury rules for once.

Yawn...

We would be in half the mess we are in IF what was promised us was made good.

But lets say that YOUR new congressman keeps HIS word. It won't matter unless all those other REPUKOCRATS are behind him.

The house can pass a repeal bill but neither the Senate nor Obama will approve it.

The key now is to defund and neuter it until we can get rid of Obama and his marxist operatives and CZARS.

Just fact of reality.

Forcing the Ds in the House and Senate to vote against the repeal bill (which is another vote FOR Obamacare) will wound them -- some gravely -- for 2012.

Then fallback to the defund play you called and execute.

Make sense?
