Iron Triangles

As Tuesday approaches, read this piece on the permanent bureaucracy from Bashing William at The Elector Retards.

Do you understand what even an historic landslide for the Dead Elephants is likely to yield?

Don't listen to their words.

Watch their hands and their actions.

And when necessary...

Remove them from office.

Much like the feudal system of chancellors of the exchequer, the shire-reeves and tax collectors, whose administrations spanned king after queen after king because they knew the intricacies of the system.
If there is hope, it lies in parties that don't begin with D or R. Can Americans just once dare greatly again for something better?

Here in South Carolina the real campaign was the primary.

We knocked off an incumbent Republican congressman, Bob Inglis, unfortunately replacing him with a US government prosecutor, need I say that both Lindsey Graham and Arlen Spector were both US prosecutors too. I'll vote for the libertarian, though a Constitution Party candidate is on the ballot as well.

In this district, the Democrat will receive so few votes that a three way split between the Republican, Constitution, and Libertarian candidates won't matter; the Dem still won't win.

In my much more important state representative district, we knocked off a Republican in the primary who was more or less a ghost presence in the State House. His replacement is a Conservative/Libertarian guy who should be receptive to most of what we secessionist/nullification/Interposition activist's goals are. If he's not, we'll flush him in two years and move on.

So, voting can be fun and interesting as long as you don't go above the state or US government representative levels.

These are interesting times.

Look what happened to a Democrat who was recognized at a Republican event for Eric Cantor. First video on the page.
Cantor is his congressman too. The story he tells is he was INVITED like many in the area, simply recognized as a Democrat, without disrupting anything (yet, at least), asked to leave, declined, and police were called. He was triple-teamed, manhandled, piled onto, like a common violent criminal.
The event was in a local coffee shop. You can't tell me Cantor was unaware of what was being done.

Anon 2:05,

I try not to muddy the water in others back yards, so I will try to behave myself.

I would be more than happy to send you the link IN WHITE ON BLACK if you would provide me with your e-mail address, of course you prefer to remain anonymous.

And yes I am an amateur author, I make no bones about it, I have been blogging for less than one year.

Shall we go back in history and review the amateur's that beat the professional soldiers.

Yes indeed it was the amateurs that gave us our liberty.

I am not above humiliating myself because I am an amateur, I am involved and engaged as we all should be.

Good day to you sir.
