Explain to me again how the spark of individual freedom will be kindled in the hearts of these millions of government dependents.
And while you're at it, whisper to me on how voting can cure this cancer and restore limited government on this continent.

The war is between the dependents and those from whom they intend to raid.
You're right, voting won't do it, but it eases the conscience when there's nothing left but conflict.

Believe it or not, as I hope against hope that we can avoid this mess through elections, debate, and reason, the more I'm convinced that a Carrington Event by the Sun would be the most merciful of all the scenarios we face.
Especially after reading this post and links.
And the disease continues to grow....unceasingly.
Couple that with larger and faster and purposeful shaking off the shackles of the Bill of Rights; activist judges from Circuit to SCOTUS level; the end justifying the means, and so on.
And personally, I don't think we've seen nothin' yet.
So....in this case regarding the news flash of the 'Carrington Event', let it come now.
I'd rather die on my feet with 7 studs down the river than to live on my knees being fed a diet of excrement and urine while being told not only that it's 'good for me', but is fine cuisine to boot.

That's one reason why there's the alternative economy of the illegal drug trade, and prostitution. When life is that bleak...

And Obamanomics has INCREASED black unemployment. Those low-skill low-wage jobs are the first to be cut in a down economy. Certinly the white CEOs and boards of directors bear some blame, since they're paid 600 times what the lowest worker makes. It almost makes ME believe in redistributing the wealth, but I still have ethics and a love for that Constitution thing.
