Message from the Boss:
O S*@T, our plan to demonize this guys opponets as RAAAACIISSts is miserably failing. And our fancy doublespeak is not working on them.
1. Race Card-FAIL
2. Calling them uneducated-FAIL
So what next, call them TERRORISTS, and UNPATRIOTIC.
All we have to do is create a "terrorist attack" and a "Gulf of Tonkin" with Iran, and we are back in the game.
Now move it.
I assume the target is the TEA Party independent thinkers. What "irrational fears"? A financial depression? My state, Virginia, is contemplating borrowing $850 million from the federal government to meet current unemployment insurance claims.
The death of constitutional rights? I don't need to tell WRSA readers about THAT, but there was a midnight police raid on a home not far from here, doors rammed in, over suspected pssession of a stolen plasma TV(!). Were the cops afraid they'd flush the TV down the toilet or execute it?
And a Supreme Court Justice who denies the existence of natural rights.
I don't think the fears being expressed by opponents of socialism are irrational at all.
Restoring civility? Let's start first in our state capitols:

Talk about ramming things down peoples' throats. If parliamentary procedures can't even be respected for our elected reps inside the marbled halls, how will civility be respected anywhere else?
When a drake is captured and made not to be able to fly, you can tie him to a piece of twine and let him swim in the pond you are hunting. Then, when other ducks fly over, he quacks at them, and the other ducks land and you kill them.
I wonder if anyone else sees the unintended irony of installing an apparatchik named "Leach" in an obscure and irrelevant "Ministry of Culture" position? ;^]
