Citizens, there is nothing to see here!
Your Federal Bureau of Investigation has a long and illustrious history of protecting civil rights and avoiding the abuses perpetrated by other state security police agencies.
Pay no attention to those malcontents, wreckers, and saboteurs who claim that the FBI has already abused the National Security Letter mechanism.
As you know, your FBI has instituted special educational processes to ensure that its agents are sensitive to privacy issues.
It's time for all real Americans to support Director Mueller, General Holder, and the President in their never-flagging efforts to look into every digital communication and thus keep all right-minded Americans safe from the threat of domestic terrorism, thoughtcrime, and the heartbreak of psoriasis.
Sincerely,

In the "Hannibal" books by Thomas Harris, rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling ends up recognizing Hannibal the Cannibal as the lesser evil, quits the Bureau and moves to Italy with him. They messed up the ending in the movie.
I think the recent post I read was on KeepandBearArms.com. A doctor asked the standard question of a parent: "Do you own a gun?" The parent found another doctor.
Our medical records will pretty much be government property soon. That could mean if you ask your optometrist for prescription shooting glasses, you "might be a domestic terrorist."
And if you've ever emailed someone who emailed someone who emailed someone like Mike Vanderboegh or David Codrea, well, six degrees of separation doesn't count.
Heck, I emailed Mike directly.
Oh well, guess I'm in good company.
I never was a good gray man.

Horiuchi.
What a waste of life.
Uh, oh. Now I did it. Now He'll probably shoot MY wife.
Every time I hear that name, I want to throw up in tin foil and eat it.
And screw HS precision as well. Any company using that bastard's endorsement deserves not a penny of my money. Ever.

I think most everyone here knows I was not saying we SHOULDN'T communicate, just that with government Cray supercomputers capable of a trillion calculations per second and a national population of three hundred million, the math is easy. Privacy is dead.
Out opposition seems perfectly comfortable with guilt-by-association. Guilty of what? Wanting this country back the way it started, only better? WITHOUT the slavery, WITHOUT the Manifest Destiny push to dominate the native population, WITHOUT being mercenaries for oppressive regimes like Egypt and Kuwait. Well, yes. A lot of people are "guilty" of that. Most, I would say. The fact that they ARE NOT speaking out is how sh-- happens.
So, no fear.
