Beck: Memo To The New York Times

From Billy Beck:

Cass Sunstein Wants to Nudge Us.

Oh. Really? Let me explain something to you assholes.

I am an American. Do you understand? Please tell this Sunstein character that he should be very careful about what he "wants", because where I come from, a "nudge" from someone like him requires action-in-kind, and I would definitely "want" to smash him right straight in the teeth with a two-by-four.

Please him know that he has no earthly idea what he's fucking with.

Thanx. Y'all have an ice day, hear?

I couldn't finish reading the "article". Made me ill.
What an ass-kissing, toady, knee-bending, idol-worshipping puff piece.

Sorry, I feel better now.

Cass Sunstein Wants to Nudge Us.

As usual, BB is right-on. These are the kind of "social technicians" with lofty plans for everyone that Stalin used to achieve efficient mass-murder without much spillover in Moscow (his and henchmen families well-protected in deluxe apartments). The "technicians" of complete-control are UofChicago collectivists who would happily "nudge" the rest of us off of a cliff so that their drinks are properly chilled/shaken/not-stirred.

Cheers.

Here, let me put this choke collar on you... uhhh, for your own good.

You see, you don't know what is best for you. You are subject to this human quality called "irrationality", like thinking for yourself, making a plan, living life according to your own choices, and such.

SO, since you tend to behave irrationally, I will put this CHOKE COLLAR on you (isn't it cute, with it's fuzzy pink lining?), and then we'll all be happier. I'll be happier because I have control of you, and you'll be happier.... well, because I said so.

You see?

Sunstein is one of those feckless Progressives (read fascists) that would send surrogates to do his "nudging" for him, God forbid he ever had to actually rub shoulders with the Hoi Polloi. Goodness me, he's likely to faint dead away at the mere thought.

In short, he's like the rest of the effete Liberal establishment, a gator like mouth, with no teeth at all.

The good news here is that the feds DO NOT have enough bodies to protect everyone who will think they are entitled to that protection when the rubber finally starts to meet the road...

There is no liberty without dependency. That is why we should celebrate tax day.–Cass Sunstein

I see why the politicians admire this guy. Maybe I can get a plush regulatory job like his if I come up with a catchy phrase of my own.

"There is no free speech without prior approval. That is why we should celebrate censorship."

"There is no prosperity without indebtedness. That is why we should celebrate deficit spending."

"There is no life without death, That is why we should celebrate the government's hangman."

There–that oughta earn me some kinda consideration with the PTB.
