I have a lot of respect for people like Vanderleun, who correctly notes the historic impotence of third parties.

They forget that both major parties have been supplanted in the past by rising third parties hosted by people who got sick and tired of business as usual, at least one of them at least twice, IIRC. We are approaching such a point--if the repubs won't reform, we'll take the hit and get a new party going. We've done it before, and we'll do it again. Let them go the way of the Whigs, if they can't take the heat.
Michael Steele in his pimpstripe suit and purple tie is about as useless as spinner rims on a 4-wheel drive. Which might be what he's trying to do for the GOP. Whatever.

I have something special for the nimrods in Congress and "our" President. No, it's not a gun, knife or any other deadly weapon. It's a couple of old FEATHER PILLOWS and a 5 gallon can of TAR. All I need now is some sort of rail and what comes next is a good old fashioned TAR n FEATHER party followed by a ride out of town on the rail. Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish. Just try to destroy MY NATION and the nimrods will get what they deserve. Too many of them think that they are SPECIAL and are our RULERS but I consider them to be the same as DOG POOP on my shoe. If you really want to ask me what I think of them I think this rant is close.
