I will be much happier if and when the representatives here in my state get off of their backsides and do more that "consider" similar legislation.
But that brings to mind, the Idaho Legislature passed a joint resolution, to not participate in the Fed Gov's REALID act. Our traitorous Govenator, along the state AG, made a behind the back deal, with DHS, to take the "extension" that was offered by DHS. Not what the legislature wanted, but the criminals got away with it.

This means no more than the many gun ban bills that are introduced but go nowhere. It's a promising trend, but there are congressmen who've been introducing legislature to reinstate the draft every session since it was ended. It doesn't mean a thing until it passes.
It also exposes the inherent evil of the system of government which we live under. It does not protect the rights of the citizens but rather, under its proper understanding, protects the local government from infringement by the federal government.
Hamilton, the bastard, wanted our rights to be "reasonably regulated" by a powerful central government.
Jefferson wanted the same, but closer to home.
I disagree with both of them. To hell with the man who desires to rule, and all his would-be subjects.
