Quote Of The Week
"If you consent, the act, no matter how repellent, is no longer rape. And if you repeatedly consent to a series of violent and unjustified assaults, especially over a period of days, weeks, months, and years, you are telling your attackers and the world that you like it that way."
-- Overheard in school this past weekend
Buddy of mine says "Want a swelling in your head? Incautiously open your mouth in the wrong company."
ReplyDeleteSlightly off-color, but rather TRUE.
This consent by the populace has now become part of what would be known as the doctrine of accepted customs and practices.
ReplyDeleteGovernment thinks they own us because we did not say stop oh so many years ago.
We have not resisted and it has begot us where we are today.

Me: "What happened to my 5 pound chunk of cheddar?"
ReplyDelete8oz Rat: "I ate it."
Me: "You ate it??"
8oz Rat: "Yep! A nibble at a time."
Me: "I want it back!"
8oz Rat: "You got it back, a turd at a time."

Well some of us tried to say stop about 150 years ago but that got rather messy. Now we are ALL slaves.

For a peek @ who's likely to be part of Emperor Obama's 'Domestic Security Force', ease on over to Drudge & eyeball the story about MS-13. After that, recall the question Connery put to Kostner in church & before he broke down the warehouse door, ask them of yourself, & answer HONESTLY, because the kind of people the Imperium'll send out to enforce its edicts have the mentality exemplified by the object of the story & not all of the enforcers will be males. THEY will have NO qualms about going Mau Mau on their opponents & if you're ethically/morally unwilling to match or exceed that kind of brutality & psychologically unable to deal w/ the horror of what you may have to become & do in order to make it thru, then stop w/ the 'grrrr, I'm a by God headhuntin' freedom fighter' posturing & the denigration of those who can & will do those ugly, repulsive, & often necessary things that war frequently demands be done if one wants to win.
ReplyDeleteAnd quit using religious/philosophical sophistry as cover for a lack of toughness. Review what God told Joshua to do to secure Canaan for the Israelites & pay particular attn to the command given about the disposition of the residents of Jericho, then understand THAT is the level of viciousness that will VERY likely be required to achieve victory over the oncoming darkness. If you can't bring yourself to get that nasty, shut up about those who can & get out of the way.
