  2. Seems a little heavy on process where common sense would do the job just fine. Should we print and laminate this, so I have something else to carry in my wallet?

  3. Some things are not up for discussion because they are not matters of debate among peaceful, honest people. They are bedrock principles without which all else crumbles to worthless dust.

  4. A big issue I have is that I generally do research for myself. This means that generally, supporting references are only relevant to the extent of making the argument, after which I don't generally keep them.

This means that I have trouble arguing the points later, because as she says, you need sources, which I had since forgotten. This generally happens in global warming discussions--a paper cited in an article or blog are hard to find again.

  5. Very reminiscent of "The Four Killer Questions:"
    1. What do you mean by that?
    2. How do you know that is true?
    3. What if you are wrong?
    4. What difference does it make?
and of course the last one that nails 'em to the wall "What would you accept as evidence?"
Thanks to Bill Jack of World View Academy for his excellent videos and personal teaching on this discussion subject.
