I Am TJIC

Read it all, including the embedded links.

How does such a thing happen?

And how does it stand?

  1. Civil disobedience on the rise, so far of the economic variety. Barter and other diversions.

  4. Sort of related: were the Tucson shootings the trigger point for the Fourth Turning? An interesting, if long, read.

  5. Sounds like Mr. Corcoran has a lot of moxie.

"Moxie: The connection between Moxie and Arlington is the legacy that Arlington resident Francis Thompson as president of the Moxie Co. (from 1904 to his death in 1939) and his wife left to the town. The money finances scholarships for Arlington High School graduates as every year, and more than 100 seniors receive Thompson Scholarships ranging from $200 to $2,000."

  6. All I know is that I keep being admonished, "No Ft.Sumters". If that has changed, someone please inform me. In my estimation, we are SUPPOSED to be taken down, beaten, raped, imprisoned, murdered, one or two at a time, in order to avoid good ole' Ft.Sumter, Ja? N'thataway, we hold the moral high ground or something, and our enslavers have a good laugh. Just want to do things properly you see. I wouldn't want to get out of line, and do anything all those people way smarter than me, wouldn't like. Oh, there's that damn sarcasm light flashing again, I'll just turn that off..........

  8. Sean:

You know my views on NFS.

As I have said before, free men and women are always free to act at any time in accordance with their ethics and their acceptance of the consequences, intended and unintended, of their actions.

    They're free, ya know?
    ;-)

  9. It happens because the people of the Republic of Massachusetts allow it, they have learned their lessons well and they have become cattle. Good luck TJIC, you are alone in Massachusetts and soon we all will be alone together.

  10. I'm with Sean on this. Don't do anything to upset TPTB. FTS.
How much longer is this shit going to go on before the patriots of this ONCE great land stand up to the tyrants in force. NO MORE! NO MORE BACKING UP! NO MORE PLAYING NICE TO WUSSY METROSEXUAL POLITICIANS WHO HIRE ILLITERATE NAZI THUGS TO DO THEIR DIRTY WORK FOR THEM.
I'm really tired of being told to be nice, especially by guys who play by the rules. They have every fukin permit and license the gov't tells them to get. They've never once done anything to defy their masters and then tell us, one more time, one more time, one more time.....and then we'll get mad. Just like the NRA, we're being sold out by cowards on our side. Or maybe they aren't on our side?
So back to the basic question. What the fuck is going to be the breaking point?????

  12. "A blog threatening members of Congress in the wake of the Tucson shooting..."

Libel courtesy of Beth Germano of WBZ TV, a CBS affiliate. The First Amendment is too important for ordinary people to have.

A reporter and a photographer get thrown off a cliff by an editor. Which one hits bottom first?
The photographer. The reporter gets lost on the way down.
Uh-oh. Is that a threat against reporters?

  13. "All I know is that I keep being admonished, "No Ft.Sumters""

One viewpoint is to think of it as paying a kidnapper's ransom demand while you wait for them to slip up and give you an opening. It's a stall. A mentally healthy victim would never think of complying with an aggressor unless they already figured they would lose in a straight-up defensive action. Another viewpoint is that the speaker BELIEVES in the moral rightness of the pronouncements of majority rule, and offers this political prayer to give the ruling majority the opportunity to see the error of its ways.

It is the difference between a slavery abolitionist who is outraged and wants slavery to end this very hour; and a slavery abolitionist who urges gradual, government managed change so that nobody in power is inconvenienced, and all the newly "freed" slaves are disarmed so they can't obtain justice.

  15. More Free Speech Follies.
Glenn Beck says what WE say -- you'll have to kill me to shut me up or otherwise take my freedom, and I'll shoot back -- and you can guess what happens.

  16. "What, When??"

Imagine the Trail of Tears death march done at 1/10th the speed. It is slow enough that people are deprived of medical care and mortgaged housing rather than food and sleep. The media paints it as some economic problem solvable only by wastefully consuming the wealth you have painfully saved. Victims get told they are on a six month waiting list for treatment of cancer through Republicare, and in the meantime they get this tracking bracelet that dispenses pain killers. These victoms get winnowed because they don't understand the problem.

Some "rednecks" are resolved to shoot anybody who comes to their home to take their guns. Accommodatingly, the state never comes to their door. The rednecks never find a clear enemy to shoot, because the state's guns are directly pointed at the doctors and engineers and entrepreneurs who have more to loose, and better options than a showdown with armed enforcers. These rednecks are victims of siege warfare. These victoms get winnowed because they don't understand the problem.

Your response? Don't you fall into one of these categories. Move out past the suburbs where surveillance is much harder to do. Start a home-based business. Start five home-based businesses. Learn Austrian economics, understand where the badness actually is. Organize, and stop paying taxes.
