Karl Denninger looks at the latest moves within Treasury and asks:

...We deserve what we're getting folks, but the better question here is this:
Are there any Representatives in The House who will file an Article of Impeachment for this blatant disregard for our Constitutional principles? Are the any Senators who will come out publicly for this to occur, and will they vote to convict?
Or are we to the point where any act taken by a President is considered "perfectly ok" so long as he has a majority in the House and Senate?
If, in point of fact, we have reached the latter point, we no longer live in a Constitutional Republic.
The implications of that should wake you in a cold sweat tonight.

Do you understand yet?
Why this passes unmarked by the Marxist Socialist Media I understand. But what about everyone else? Where is the outrage, the cries for justice, the muster on the green? Not with weapons, but of markers, spray cans, copiers. I am this little peeping voice in the wilderness, telling those who will listen and those who refuse to listen of the danger we are in. If everyone who has the ability to communicate would speak to the people around them, in any and every way they could, something might be able to get done to stop this madness.
ReplyDeleteThen again, maybe we are all doomed. But I was taught to go down fighting, so that is what I will do...
No wonder Americans are investing in China. He'll get them, too, though, with the UN tax on international monetary transactions.
ReplyDeleteI was sorting some papers today. A letter about my unemployment insurance benefits -- now defunct -- advised me that they were taxable as income. As was my severance pay. They took a quarter of both.
Hmm. Is BATFU still under the Treasury department, or are they part of Homeland Scrutiny now?
They're under the Justice Dept. Ha.
