It's Not About Weed

David explains, as do the materials and "pre-trailer" above.

  1. Excellent. The narration uses words of two syllables or less, so maybe even our Overseers can grasp the concept.
Familiar with the Haylee Cummings abduction and murder in Florida? Her young uncle from Tenn. was a suspect but they didn't have any evidence. Lo, a stolen car is found on his property, and wow, look at that, marijuana growing in the fenced back yard in dealer quantities, and now SWAT bashes in his door. Former prosecutor Nancy Grace cheers this "progress" in the case.
Also, locally a woman's door is rammed in in the middle of the night by police looking for a stolen plasma TV. No stolen TV was found. Or was that the excuse to search for drugs?
The current Prohibition under which we live is the "federal master key" to all our privacy. When the feds didn't find any unlicensed full-autos in the debris of Waco, they seized on meth lab and child abuse accusations, also apparently unfounded. Meth is bad and child abuse is bad and funny religious beliefs are bad, so people said "Eh. They shoulda come out when they tolded them ta" and that was that.
