Spoutings From The Idiot Dwarf

Go and read Geheime Staatspolizei Kommissar....uh, make that DHS Secretary Napolitano's "balancing" twaddle regarding internet monitoring.

Do a word search within the text of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights for that term "balancing".

Let me know what you find.

Remember Spooner?

I do.

But at least we still have this...

That's right.....once again, cue Lee Greenwood:

  1. Incompetanto isn't leading the Gestapo. The Gestapo was actually quite skilled. We're luckier than the Germans - our Feds are far less talented than theirs were.

  2. Wow an old Oliver tractor ... haven't even seen one of them in years.

Nice song, but the underlying video is tough on me as I was forced off of my farm also. If all those neighbors and family had done what was done back in the 30s they would have bought everything back for a few pennies and given it back to him and his family. The banks quit foreclosing because they were doing that.

Now the modern farmer (not depicted here)looks at every farm failure as an excuse to try and farm his land. But I digressed.

  3. Actually, Europe had long registered individuals with the local police stations in the towns and cities, they still do that, for delivery of services according to my long time Danish work associate. The Gestapo simply went to each local police station and had them turn over the information they wished to see, that's not genius. In fact, the
German State Police did most of the arrests of Jews, political opposition to the National Socialists, and "undesirables" for the Gestapo.

The US government currently fields in excess of 100,000 federal "police" agents, none of which are constitutionally authorized.

Last, Lee Greenwood's opportunistic paean to the US government, and not to America, is detestable.

  4. I find myself wondering what an internet shutdown would do to the more extreme. Would the absence of a safe place to vent frustration cause a "Fort Sumter" moment? Or would individual acts of violence increase thereby giving homeland security justification for even more repression?

  5. Or is that exactly what they're hoping for?
