Read it all.
To the optimists:
Who's gonna beat him?
And, even more realistically, does it even matter, given the non-elected Permanent Government's century-old accretion of statists and looters and thugs, along with their accomplices in the mainstream media?
Who can beat Obama?
ReplyDeleteProbably no one.
And, like you said, does it matter? No, it doesn't.
I mean, hopefully we'll elect a good khaffir like Lindsey Graham.

...no, it probably doesn't matter but if the dead elephants could pull themselves away for their collectivist/statist, Democrat-lite agenda they would nominate Ron Paul. For 0ver 30 years, Dr. Paul has consistently walked the walk of what the Republicans say they stand for.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that the Project Gun-walker debacle could be the best chance or derailing BHO's run for re-election, along with "it's the economy stupid" and the fact that he has utterly failed on most of his campaign promises. To wit: greater transparency, ending the wars, showing bills on line before a vote is to be cast, etc.
Oh! and then there is Libya too. WTF?

ReplyDeleteI say that it doesn't matter if he wins or lose. Whoever is "elected" will get full blame for the coming disaster or turn that blame on us.
ReplyDeleteThat same message applies to all politicians, not just this one; the Tea Party Republicans renewed the Patriot Act after only 20 days in office. Stop voting, it only encourages them.

ReplyDeleteThis is key. Even our champions of liberty cannot wait for their turn to place their boots on our necks.
Obama is the previous administration.
He's also the next, win or lose.
Own it.

@Arctic Patriot: "Even our champions of liberty cannot wait for their turn to place their boots on our necks."
ReplyDeleteCan you blame them? What's the point in being part of the Ruling Class if you can't actually, you know, rule?
@Arctic Patriot: "hopefully we'll elect a good khaffir like Lindsey Graham."
ReplyDeleteSo our choices are a kaffir and a khaffir? Awesome.
(I hereby denounce myself for aforesaid insensitive pun.)
I am afraid if we stop voting they will take that right too. :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I do not think it matters who wins, because the candidates are pre-screened. Without a crash / revolution, there is no way in hell that any change will come thru the Federal Gov't.
"If voting made any difference it would be illegal."
