I never did find that hope thing last night, either.
Every word spoken, every action taken, every premise assumed is false, and therefore where we are is far from what is real and necessary that I have to wonder if reconciliation / recovery is possible.
When the basic premises of the subject cannot be addressed, or even agreed to, hammering out the details becomes impossible.
So it is with us.
People put on restraining devices when riding on roller coasters.
Ours have been removed and sold to provide free refreshments for people not getting on the ride.
That first drop will be a bear.
Put your hands in the air, everyone. It's more fun that way.
Anyone who believes this can be fixed, is just another drowning man, clutching at straws, anything, to keep afloat. It will end badly, only worse than that. Someday, it will be good again. And man will become arrogant and dissapated, and lose it all once more. We were just born slightly before one of those downturns. My parents, now dead, were lucky.
Sad day.
