For the most part I like Baugh he makes the reader think.
However notice that if you change a few small details mostly who is the dark force and their reasons enslaving you. Then this would read remarkably like an article from the daily Kos.
His usual lack of attention to detail makes him a little harder to trust. Such as the formidable problems of mineral extraction in Afghanistan even if the population was friendly and productive for a glaring example. Perhaps he just does not believe that the whole story helps get his point across. But a half truth is a most deadly efficient kind of lie.
Do pay attention he brings up good points and counter strategies. Makes a strong argument for the most part. But how honest a broker is he?
Baugh is a wack job. Spouting platitudes. Creating boogie-men. Twisting the story to fit his pre-conceived outcome. Minor undertones of 'I hate Jews'. The tax code sux to be sure. But his glossing over it to fit his storyline is disingenuous at best. I won't be wasting my time reading the next edition.
Here's the thing for those of you who trash Baugh... ignore his personal feelings, all writers have the unpleasant tendency to inject theirs in the point they are trying to make.
It is not the messenger who matters, it's the message. Either you get his message or you don't.
Sometimes it's just easier to go about your business than it is to eject yourself from the manufactured world and accept that reality for what it is.
At some point, you wake up from the dream. I'd rather do that at 20-something than on my death bed.
JDA, since you obviously get Baugh's message and I obviously don't, cut out all his crapola and condense his message for me. Then I'll reconsider his point (or lack thereof as it stands now).
