One question: who says the US has any stockpiled food?

  3. Wonder what Obama would say about doing that to his daughters? Somebody should mail him a rusty razor blade, he might not even understand.
All in the name of Allah?

  4. The official stats showed we had less than 60 days of grain reserve a few years ago. Hard to find those numbers anywhere now.

You can thank the Just In Time delivery system promoted by the multinational corps and retailers with their fleet of trucks (rather than warehouses) like Walmart for the starry-eyed lack of planning.

None of these people grew up on farms far from cities, so they just don't get it. They assume the "system" will provide it when they need it. Just keep the trucks running...

  5. As I have taught my sons, ALL economies are based on agriculture. It doesn't matter if you have gobs of oil, tons of gold, and the best mousetrap ever. If you don't eat, you die. The Chinese, flush, are buying up the worlds resources, primarily, food. Like the article says, in economic scarcity, like a disease epidemic, the weak get polished off first. Ergo, that's what started this thing in the Middle East. Not only is Obongo casting around for platitudes as to what would be helpful to Egypt, he's casting where there are no bites coming. A food injection to Egypt right now would probably put the damper on a Khomeni style takeover there, but since we have a dumbshit in the Whitehouse who has all the political savvy of Sarah Bernhardt, he'll miss a chance at keeping Egypt friendly to the US. We've got the leader we deserve, and more's the pity.

  6. For Sean:
The One has no interest whatsoever in delivering ANY food to Egypt until AFTER the Muslim Brotherhood takes over. THAT is why he is the Muslim in Chief.

As long as you understand that, everything makes sense.

And yet the foul stench passed off as "Law Enforcement" continue to enable him.

  7. Mark, I understand that all too well. Mistakenly, I left it out of my comment. Thanks. Glad to see there are minds at work out there.
