Atlanta Tea Party - Facing The SEIU - State Capitol, 23 February, 4 PM Local

Members of the various Tea Party, 9/12, and other freedom-oriented folks in the Atlanta area will be assembling in the vicinity of Georgia State Capitol this coming Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm. We'll be providing balance to the ravings of the passengers aboard the SEIU Thugbus, which is scheduled to vomit forth its stooges at that same place and time.

If you are within three hours drive of ATL, come join us.

Dan and others from RTC will be there, with the usual accoutrements. As always, each participant is responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.

Rally point will be the corner of Trinity and Washington Streets in front of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Guide on the Gadsden flags. Rendezvous time no later than 3:45 pm local.

There appears to be some regulations re armed protests on the Washington Street side of the Capitol, so attendees are requested to be flexible in your attire. We will attempt (but no promises) to get some additional clarity regarding the situation and post it here prior to the show.

Take a stand.

Join us in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Or hold your own counter-demonstration when the SEIU Thugswarm comes to your AO.

  1. Oh! Please take video of the engagement.

This could be very interesting. Nothing better than seeing thugs put in their place. Be prepared for taunts of "racist" and such.

    Resist!

  3. As we can see from around the world, the NWO wants us fighting amongst ourselves. So much easier to implement phase 2.
And as much as I would love to put some rabblerouser from the SEIU in his place, I think we are just playing into the hands of the controlling elite. But there seems no other way either. We have to deal with the filth before us, today OR tomorrow.
Keep a clear head and prepare for phase 2. We know it's coming next.

  4. E. No one shall assemble or demonstrate while carrying weapons or dangerous instruments including, but not limited to: sticks, stakes, or picket handles of wood,
    metal, or other construct.

This looks like it is mainly for the "park" area of the Capitol Complex, although I think it would be tossed in court, as this is part of the old Public Gathering Clause, and the law is specific... it is weapons free only inside building that are holding "public meetings"...

    Georgia Code: http://www.georgiapacking.org/law.php

Carrying a Weapon in an Unauthorized Location: Carrying a weapon or long gun in any of the following places is against the law (misdemeanor offense, exceptions are below the list)...

    1. In a government building.
    -- "Government Building" means:
    1. The building in which a government entity is housed (Please see the definition for "government entity" below for more infomation)

    2. The building where a government entity meets in its official capacity; provided, however, that if such building is not a publicly owned building, such building shall be considered a government building for the purposes of this Code section only during the time such government entity is meeting at such building; or

    3. The portion of any building that is not a publicly owned building that is occupied by a government entity. (if a government entity rented out space in a mall and actually occupies it with people, only the "store" space they rented would be off limits)

--"Government Entity" means an office, agency, authority, department, commission, board, body, division, instrumentality, or institution of the state or any county, municipal corporation, consolidated government, or local board of education within this state (This part of the law is kind of vague depending on who exactly is included regarding an "office" or "department" as to where they are "housed" or "occupied". The meaning most favorable to a person charged with violating this law (which is the way a court should rule) is limited to the location that contains the person that is in charge of the entire entity.

Example: Your local tax office has 3 locations (all publicly owned) where you can make payments, the county tax commissioner is housed in building A and is off-limits, buildings b and c are not off limits becuase they do not house the Office of the tax commissioner. The meaning least favorable to a person charged with violating this law (which is a way police and prosecutors could interpret it and a court might rule) includes any location where an employee operates out of.

Example: Your local tax office has 3 locations (all publicly owned) where you can make payments, all 3 locations are off limits. This does not include a blanket ban on all publicly owned buildings since the law says that a publicly owned building is only off-limits if an entity is housed or meets in the building).

  10. It would be sad if unscrupulous individuals somehow obtained purple shirts, then mixed in with the crowd and began to shout, curse and carry on in a most unseemly and demented manner for the media, cameras, interviewers, wouldn't it?
Really, it would be terrible, having someone scream at an interviewer or scream in the background behind someone being interviewed, such gibberish as "We special, we entitled, we deserve whatever we want". or "Obama promised us the land he takes away from the rich pigs!".
Or even "Allah akbar! Kill the Great Satan! Death to the White Oppressors"
