The Depraved And The Deprived

Read all of this Sultan Knish post; excerpt:

***
...When you replace the morality with class warfare, you also replace good and evil with poor and rich. Actions are no longer good or bad, except within the context of class. Murder is a crime for the rich, but not for the poor, or the rich who claim to be fighting for the poor.

Under class warfare morality, there are two types of criminals. The depraved and the deprived. The depraved are well off. The deprived are not. When the former commit a crime, it is because they are depraved. When the latter commit a crime, it is because they are deprived. And being deprived, they bear no responsibility for what they do.

The practical application of this form of left-wing morality is all around us. When justifying terrorism, the left argues that the terrorists are deprived, but the soldiers who shoot them are depraved. The Israeli civilians who are murdered by terrorists are depraved, on the other hand the poor starving Hamas supporters of Gaza are only deprived. The left holds that the root cause of terrorism is deprivation. On the other hand those who fight terrorists are depraved, because they kill them, instead of giving them what they want and ending their deprivation.

The same model was commonly used by liberals for domestic crime. Criminals were deprived. Their victims were depraved. The robber, the rapist and the murderer became heroes, fighting against oppression. Their victims were the oppressors, no matter whether they were bank tellers, college students or just random passerby. By not being deprived, they were automatically found guilty of being depraved. And even if their liberal credentials were in order, the liberal credentials of the deprived were always better...

Watch what is coming to these shores soon:

And remember: these demos -- in the EU now and in the US later -- will be funded and attended by leftists who will be insisting on more governmental programs, no matter what the cost.

Think about the commonality of real interests between the "opponents" and "target government".

Do you understand yet?

  1. Very good analysis, a foreshadowing of what will inevitably come here. I want so bad to say it could never happen here, but then I couldn't take myself seriously anymore. That mirror is a heck of a conscience-tweaker. The blog looks like a good resource. You find all the good ones, CA.

Slightly off topic...for my fellow AR types...
A useful tool for dealing with depraved and deprived zombies...BCE Battlecomp. This is the real deal. NO muzzle rise.

Humble yourself and beg the missus. I just did...

  2. He was doing fine until he began to justify the organized criminal gang that is the Israeli government.

The Palestinians have been deprived of their land and homes by the Zionist gang, justifying this is like justifying a bank robber keeping his loot and claiming those that are attempting to recover their property are the bad guys.

    That's a non-starter.

Further, our Revolutionary War heroes were called terrorists and worse by the British and their collaborators, the Crown Loyalists.

Last, our Confederate Army and Naval heroes are still called terrorists, pirates, and traitors to this day. We know that they were freedom fighters, don't we?

  3. Change the scene....what if the people protesting here in America are "FreeFor" fed up with the lies of both parties, in DC, pulling our thieving "representatives" from their offices and beating them as the Greeks are doing? What if Americans are pulling banksters that foisted this fraud on our people in to the streets to hold court there since our judicial system refuses to do it? Is it leftism in that case? I'd argue no, it's not.

But you're probably right....what we'll see are the entitlement classes rioting and burning and looting because they aren't getting their "promised" freebies and they'll lash out at their government masters for that failure.

Either way, it won't be pretty....though the first scenario might lead to some positive change.

  4. Funded by leftists - that gives me an idea.

    1. Become a rent-a-rioter.
    2. Hang out near the back, survive to get paid.
    3. Take lefty pay, invest in silver and ammo.

Hell, I subsidize the Left through my taxes, no reason I should get *some* of it back....

  5. Something I don't really understand is why the police don't shoot.

Seriously - I know that the police aren't supposed to use deadly force, and the usual media bull crap would be about "kids just throwing rocks". Maybe if your helmet and shield work right, a rock isn't a deadly weapon, but a Molotov cocktail sure is! At about 6:30, the kids seem to have some riot cops trapped in a building or alcove and are pelting them with fire.

Just add it to the list of reasons I would wash out of police academy, but I'd be shooting.

  6. Graybeard:

What if the "demonstrators" in Athens and London were actually covert government (or at least political party) assets tasked to provide "street urgency" for the continuation of blanket socialism in Greece and the UK?

That would explain the lack of shooting....

  7. I think what many Americans don't understand about the PIIGS, and other European countries for that matter, is just how many government employees there are and how intertwined into the daily lives of the citizenry they are. As a Danish co-worker of mine explained, if we move or relocate within our country, we register with the local police department. Why, I asked, well, she says, it's so our full gamut of social services can be provided, otherwise how would they know where we are?

Was it this way in the 1930's?

    Yep.

  8. CA:

Good observation! After all, are not the police part of the entitlement class? They don't want their pensions cut like everyone else....and here in Amerika, most folks support the police for "putting their lives on the line everyday".

  9. Ya know, it just looks like if someone a ways BEHIND the Blue Wall with the ability to "reach out and touch someone" could make things VERY interesting in one of this events.

Just sayin', of course! NOBODY would ever even CONSIDER doing anything like that...

  10. The Israelis have been known to take down troublesome rioters with .22s to the leg.

    Mark-

That WOULD make things a pit more interesting...

  11. Pat H, your hatred of the Jewish people is showing... AGAIN.

What do you care for the poor "palestinians"?

Those whom their Arab "brothers" refuse (probably with good reason) to admit to their own countries?

Who could have "solved" this whole problem long ago, if they were not so happily using the so called "refugees" as pawns in their implacable war of hatred against the Jews???

An implacable hatred you seem to share.

The cursed Saudis could have given all the paleos homes with our oil money anytime they chose.

The people of Israel have built a garden of plenty out of nothing, which is what the "palestinians" made of it, and what it would be still if not for the industry and dedication of the Israelis.

You probably deny that the holocaust ever happened as well. Just some sympathy seeking "narative" trumped up by the evileldersofziontrilateralrothschildcabal, right?

    Wrong.

    Just so wrong.

And just how does your relentless diatribe against Israel and "the Jews" contribute one iota to our current predicament?

That's a purely rhetorical question since your answer will prove as futile as your hatred.
