KD scourges the Administration re the
TSA Molocaust.
Read it all, then make sure you contact the airlines to tell them you want them to go bankrupt if they don't stop this nonsense.
And yes -- I understand that this insane conduct may have a Fed takeover of the airline industry as its desired end state.
Frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a damn.
While I praise this action, I only wish it wasn't made recently. Shortly after the Patriot Act was enacted, I refused to board another commercial flight. That was over 8 years ago. It's about time that all people grew a pair and stood up for their rights.
ReplyDeleteLet's put the airlines out of business - they deserve it, anyway. Since deregulation (which could have made them heros) they have stuck it to the public almost as badly as TSA is doing now.
Stop flying. NOW! Drive, take a bus, or take AmTrak. Let TSA practice on each other, and make jokes about how insignificant each others' johnsons are.
As I've stated before, the Obama junta is a secessionists best friend.
ReplyDeleteThey never disappoint.
It's going to get worse, much worse.
Sure, TSA can put my kid down, but only with their cold, dead hands.
ReplyDelete"The American People will put the airline and travel-related leisure business OUT OF BUSINESS. It's our money and we're not going to spend it on being sexually assaulted by your goon squad."
ReplyDeleteDo y'all think its possible that we are falling right into the hands of BO and the beast? Bankruptcy is something he and the other commies would love. Think... government airways, I can hear it now... "fly the friendly, authoritarian skys"
What we need to do is force them to stop this crap - ASAP
Maybe Ron Paul's bill will gain traction.
Kill the airlines, and you could throw 5 million more people out of work, from direct and indirect results. Possibly an additional 10-15 million would be dependants on these people, leading to a significant rise in food stamps, welfare, homelessness, unemployment insurance payments etc. Myself included. Please state your case as to the good side of this. Kill the airlines and I will lose my house, and much more. I don't for one minute think what TSA is doing is in any way good, but I'd like to remind you, the airlines didn't want any of this, and 9/11 was as much an intelligence and national defense failure, as anyone elses. By the way, what's YOUR business?
ReplyDeleteSean:
ReplyDeleteUnderstand that I DO NOT want the airlines to go Tango Uniform.
But -- and it is a BIG 'but' -- I know from working in a heavily Federally-regulated industry myself how much Stockholm syndrome takes place between the regulated and the regulators, starting from the fact that most folks working in the regulatory section of BigDumbCos came from the regulator.
Accordingly, someone who got their start at [insert FedReg agency of your choice] is HIGHLY unlikely to be able to conceive and execute a plan to defeat that agency, even if their management so desires.
This crap by the TSA is being perpetrated with the consent of the airlines.
Hence, the management of those companies are collaborators.
Sean, I do not wish any harm to you or anyone in the industry.
But the industry could stop this if they wanted to.
They do not want to stop it.
TSA Chief: Not Going To Change

Deputies may detain Palm Beach International Airport travelers who refuse to submit to a full-body scanner or a pat down
ReplyDeleteAny questions?
It ain't neccessarily so, as the song goes. I know more about what goes on in the airlines than you suspect. They absolutely hate this, but there is no way for them to stop it, alone. It is killing their bottom line, and they are bleeding personnel. If the people as a mass opposed it, they could stop it, but they only get upset by it for now. It ain't Stockholm Syndrome they've got, it's Strangle Hold. Step out of line, and it's one less airline, to the delight of the remainder. This is not an airline, travel, or transportation problem. This whole ball of wax is just one more bad symptom of the lack of moral courage in this country. Tell me with a straight face that this is any different than what's going on with GM, the banks, gun makers, or any other industry the Leviathan has got its' meathooks on? While we dither and poke holes in the air and carry on about Ft. Sumter, Leviathan's coils just flex a little more and get tighter around the whole body. Do I understand? All too well. However it pans out, a lack of understanding is not going to be the reason why it blew up in our faces, but a lack of action will.
ReplyDelete"the Leviathan has got its' meathooks on?"
ReplyDeleteThere is no "Leviathan", no biblical-scale super-monster that, like a hurricane, is out of man's control and can only be avoided. The true problem is a hundred million Communist Americans, thinly skinned on the outside by a million blue and white collar enforcers. The middle-class Communists think that skin is an armor, but really it's an iron curtain with the guard towers facing in. They don't realize this yet. The Worse People have the Bad People surrounded. Just stay out of the way while they get digested.
Perhaps describing the problem in concrete ways with numbers is a way of avoiding the mental ruts of powerlessness and hopelessness the Bad People want you to think in. Remind yourself that the aristocrat leadership groups of the Nazis and the Soviet Union were soundly defeated, and then the Nazis branch was hunted in South America for half a century after.
