The "War on Terror" has become the most successful military diversion in history, having lasted twice as long as WWII so far. While the US and other countries are under severe attack by financial powers through the corporate system and the currency and bond markets, the US military is convinced that people living in remote deserts are the threat.

Read it all, with h/t to Robb's Global Guerrillas.
I wish he would've taken this one more step and pinned the blame on the transnationalist faction which has a solid Fifth Column here in the USA. Of course, the difficulty lies in pinning down names in public -and they come from the corporate and government sectors.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see some people at waking up to the fact we've been under attack since I posted it back in Nov 2009:
http://gardenserf.wordpress.com/2009/11/23/debt-will-swamp-the-federal-treasury/
The attack and it's next steps:
"That’s just one suction cup on the massive financial tentacle now wrapped around the USA and locked in a conscious economic attack on this country. Other tightly fastened cups on this single tentacle include the trade deficit, overseas outsourcing, manipulated exchange rates, tax breaks (and removal of tariffs) which both encouraged and allowed domestic manufacturing to be moved out of the USA, etc, etc.
A similar method of attack used on the consumers (once known as citizens) of this country was also used on its government. However, the financial/economic attack is only one tentacle in a multi-prong attacked which will be used against this country over the next two decades. However, many Americans will be unable to see this ongoing long term attack due to their daily conditioning by Hollywood/Mainstream Media with the usual short-term emphasis on the “here and now” and instant gratification. When you think of the frog in the warm water being brought to the slow boil on the stove, imagine a master chef paying close attention to the amount of heat being applied under the pan. This is the level of sophistication and planning being used against the USA.
Other methods of attack on the people and this country as a whole in the future will be more physically direct. They will come years apart at first. Waiting for the smoke to clear will take months at a time in the early stage we’re now in, but even this will be enough for many Americans to forget and be unable to connect the dots. However, the later attacks on this country will be in relatively more rapid succession and from many directions all at once –similar to an octopus wrapping many tentacles around its prey.
This could take the form of multiple and coordinated acts of terrorism involving WMDs..."
My comment might have been too long to post, so in a nutshell this is worth reviewing:

ReplyDeleteMajor General in the U.S. Marine Corps: "I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket."
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
ReplyDelete'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered...'
With all the recent talk on this site, I was pleasantly surprised to see this article referenced here.
ReplyDeleteEspecially stunning and very poignant: "Stop participating in the efforts that are bringing this country, and much of the world, to its knees. Being a mercenary for corporate powers is not honorable – it’s disgraceful."
The U.S. Government is not concerned with keeping us safe or freeing oppressed peoples around the world.
Being played for a pawn is not honorable or heroic.

By Vrabels' own admission, he is most influenced by a dead homosexual Catholic priest. And his organization has no direction, and no point. He just doesn't like banks and corporations and other financial institutions. Good. I don't either. He can describe the problem fairly well, but can't surmount his hostility to the US military (try and remember it is made up of citizens). The basic problem with financial institutions is that they are filled with human beings with the eternal human problem of being dishonest. Multiply that times what GardenSERF said and you got trouble beyond debate. If Vrabel has light to shed on what to DO, I missed it, and so does he.
ReplyDelete“Stop participating in the efforts that are bringing this country, and much of the world, to its knees. Being a mercenary for corporate powers is not honorable – it’s disgraceful. Stand down. Then focus on the real threat and help the people restore the country while saving the rest of the world from the raging last gasps of a dying empire.”
ReplyDeleteThis is most excellent advise not only for the military, but also law enforcement, and not the least of all for “civilians” who are cheering them on.
“it’s just embarrassing to see how easily millions of grown adults can be fooled in the face of the obvious.”
Couldn’t agree more.

Notice that TJ was warning against private banks. Who controls "this issue of our currency"? Who controls "inflation/deflation"? Who deprives successful people of their earned property for redistibution?
Oh, that would be the gubbmint! Rule one of war: recognize your enemy.

Ed, the government does NOT issue American currency.
Congress handed over portions of Article 1 Section 8 over to a private foreign-owned cartel of banker euphemistically labeled the "Federal Reserve".
Article 1 Section 8 needs to be restored back to the peoples' representatives, preferably through peaceful means.
If you want to understand the enemy, read this book: "Creature from Jekyll Island" by G Edward Griffin.

Ed Rasimus:
ReplyDeletePlease do some reading and research on banks here in America. The Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel. They control our money, our government and our economy.
Start by reading the top of any "dollar" in your billfold. It is a Federal Reserve Note. A note in accounting parlance is a promise to pay. Next you might be well served by reading THE CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND by G. Edward Griffin

As a friend pointed out, "You know why America lost Viet Nam? Because the people lost the will to win! If they hadn't wimped out, we'd still be winning that war!"
ReplyDeleteThe Fort Hood mass murder by Maj. Hasan seems to be the excuse for base commanders grilling soldiers about whether THEY own any guns off-base, what, where, and what are their serial numbers.
