Successful Armed RTC Appearance At Rockdale, GA Tea Party - 1 October
Another successful armed RTC walkon today, this time at the Rockdale County Tea Party.
We were the major closer for the event, RTC plankholder John delivered a great speech, plus we got very good feedback from John Monds, the black Libertarian candidate for Georgia governor [website] ("Oh, you are the nutjobs with the guns", said with a smile) and Liz Carter, candidate for Congress in GA-4 [website] ("I just love it when I come to an event and I see guys with guns there"):
Both candidates said the RTC "posse" (as we were described in introduction today) was more than welcome at their remaining campaign events.
We even had a photog from the Times of London (!) attach himself to us and shoot a heckuva lotta digital shots.
Why?
Our rifles, for sure, but the real crowd-catcher was Alvie's awesome "Honor Your Oath/No More Excuses/Restore The Constitution" banner (downloadable here, then take to your local signmaker or Fedex Kinkos).
Kudos to all who came out. See y'all on October 30th at Little Five Points in Atlanta, in Brownsville, Texas, in Luna, NM, and elsewhere where free American men and women are willing to take an armed stand in public.
For those who haven't tried it, gun up and head out.
You'll have a great time, and you will move the freedom ball forward.
And you also will be noticed. In fact, the Times photographer said that all of that newsorg's stringers have standing orders to get images from any Tea Party activity in their areas as a "must do".
You can also use it as a test of who in your AO will likely show in stormy weather.
But just do it.
Action.
Who's the gorgeous Lady under the banner?
ReplyDeleteIf that's Alvie, my mental-imager-thingy is hopelessly broken...

Liz Carter, candidate for Congress in GA-4 against incumbent Hank "Guam will tip over" Johnson (D-Out There).
ReplyDeleteFine, feisty lady.
