'The Insurgency': Read The Posts & The Comments

Take the time to read this ChicagoBoyz post, along with all of the comments.

Then consider, carefully, Billy Beck's post here.

This struggle is not a damned game.

At its end, there will be no "good sportsmanship" ribbons given to the slow, drooling kids who abjured what has been historically necessary to defeat tyrants, and otherwise did nothing but produce carbon dioxide.

Most of the people for whom one is being asked to vote this November are in fact co-conspirators [in the technical sense: two or more parties to an illegal (i.e., unconstitutional) agreement with at least one overt act in furtherance thereof] in the destruction of the American Republic, along with most incumbents.

Read Fernandez' quote again:

It is possible to speak of the current crisis as being about whether individual life and liberty has meaning any longer in a world thronged by ideologies unrestrained in their will to power.

If an individual or a group of individuals refuse to accept that each individual life and the concept of political liberty have meaning, how in the name of all that is holy can any sentient being expect a peaceful electoral transit of that philosophical and ethical chasm?

To expect such a result is to deny reason, common sense, and the experience of three millenia.

And rather than examining that profound lapse in logic and history, the conservative intelligentsia, as exemplified by the author and the commenters in the ChicagoBoyz post, are focused on the avoidance of any hint of language that might be seen as "advocating violence."

Makes me want to hurl, it does.

Billy's post, cited above, is entitled "The Fight's On".

Damned straight.

And the right-minded amongst us are centerstage in the coming circular firing sqaud.

Are you ready?

Yea, but that firing squad is pointing out-ward from our own.
I am one off those that is doing what I can to avoid a real fight. Even though I believe it is futile to do so,it is my humaine duty to try to do so.

  2. Am I ready? As much as I'll ever be I guess. Time to step up the prayers.

  3. I'd like to avoid violence, but once you have actually SEEN it, you know when it's coming. I refer to deadly two-way violence as the "Critter". Once seen, and survived, you're a veteran. You also learn, quickly, that avoidance is only one small gambit, and it seldom works. Sooner or later, it's time for the fight. Refusal to accept the situation is what victims do. Preparation, training, and fitness, along with a mental grasp of the possible, is what makes winners and survivors. I know how victims think, I used to be one, about a hundred years ago. It just takes a strong will to live to make it, and for a lot of people, it seems to have been bred out of them.

  4. Like Sean says, most of us have the ability to survive because of our mindset. We know what's coming and are prepared, as best as possible.

The frightening part from reading comments, and observing our neighbors, the masses are still clueless. They believe the next lying politician will fix things, the TV speaks the truth, and all will be fine as soon as the new wave of politics fixes the economy. They are living '1984' already and refuse to believe big brother is an illusion. The Gov't truly loves to take care of us.
They comprise 90% of the population and we don't stand a snowballs chance of winning against that many idiots. They will simply vote us into the gulags, one small piece at a time. I fear we will not see a revolution, instead things will be just as today. One or two arrests a day on terrorism charges and in no time, the trolls win. The Obamids are masters of propaganda, it will not be hard to play this game with the masses and make it like a TV game or reality show to flush out the patriots/terrorists. I fear we will lose because we'll never see it coming. Blindsided by your friends and neighbors.

  5. I say bring it on! The sooner the better.

I am in my mid 50's and have been in the fight for 2 decades. Stamina is no longer in my favor. I fit into the gray man mold.

Assets dwindling and no one in my area of AO who I can count on. My thinking is that if we don't fight soon we will never stand a chance at winning.

Keep pushing and make the commies move first. It will be their fatal mistake.
